Exchanges and Refunds

We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item you purchased is defective. If you receive a defective item, please contact us at info@spectrumalberta.ca with details of the product and the defect. You can send the item you consider defective to:

Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a refund or a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are entitled to a replacement or refund, we will send you a replacement product at our expense or refund the purchase price, at our discretion, using the original method of payment.

Shipping

We do our best to ship same business day where possible, and offer several shipping service options through Canada Post/USPS and Fedex ranging from “Expedited Parcel” to “Overnight Priority”.

International shipments are subject to local taxes, customs, and duties and/or additional charges such as brokerage fees. These charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. If at any time Spectrum Alberta Ltd. is billed for these charges, Spectrum Alberta Ltd. will bill the buyer in the same manner the original order was billed.

Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to the items being returned during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item, so we strongly encourage you ship with insurance and a tracking number. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping. 

Extreme Temperatures

During cold weather months there is a chance that products may freeze in transit. There are no couriers that offer any guarantee against freezing. Please understand that although Spectrum Alberta Ltd. strives to provide our customers with the best service, ordering liquid products during extreme temperatures is at the risk of the customer. Temperature-sensitive items purchased during the winter season CANNOT be refunded/exchanged due to the risk of improper storage after purchase, however, items like buffing wheels will continued to be refunded/exchanged as described in the procedure above.
