KC11 is an excellent choice whenever high luster and a haze free finish is required. One of Stephane's old favourites for finishing aluminum! Especially useful in buffing out nickel plated parts which have been lightly damaged in handling. Also recommended on steel, soft metals, and plastics.

Hard metals such as steel and stainless steel require a sharp abrasive for stock removal. Such an abrasive is aluminum oxide, a man-made refractory material. It comes in 2 forms, fused and un-fused. Un-fused AO, or as it is commonly called, "Alumina", is white in color, and the softer of the two. Limited to finer grit sizes, white alumina bars produce high luster finishes.
