Mounted interleaf wheels combine material removal and blending capabilities in a single tool; excellent for satin finishing rim vent holes.
Specially-produced interleaf flap wheels provide an especially smooth and balanced feel compared to traditionally-produced flap "logs". Flexible dual-ply coated abrasive flaps and non-woven abrasive flaps are arranged radially around a center core allowing for combined material removal and blending with reduced pressure and fatigue from operators. The flexibility of the flaps allows excellent control and conformability on contours and inside or around intricate parts. As the grains wear away, so does the cloth and nylon material, continually exposing fresh abrasive material and sharp cutting grains. The variety of shapes and sizes available provide versatility in grinding, deburring and polishing flat or contoured surfaces. Built-in 1/4" shaft mounts to die grinders, flexible shaft equipment, and drills.
Max RPM:
- 1" Diameter x 1" Wide: 20,000 RPM
- 2" Diameter x 1" Wide: 15,000 RPM
