I bought the coarse And the cut and color. But. It seems to gunk up on the pads and also doesnt work aswell as autosol i had a hard time getting out the oxidation

Hi Cory,

With changes to federal legislation around VOCs were were no longer able to use the solvents normally present in our liquid compounds. As a result we took on some water-based emulsions generally designed for use on pads (like buffing wheels) which need a bit more heat to operate smoothly.

For use on paint pads or by hand we recommend adding a small bit of solvent either to the surface or diluted in a separate bottle. :) Effectively, it's a concentrate! The Coarse, for example, is rated for up to 240 grit sanding marks.

Of course, we'll endeavor to keep improving ease of use.

Cuts like tripoli. Brown like tripoli. Doesn't smell like tripoli although it doesn't smell like mineral spirits or some other fruit flavored knockoff car incense. It is water based! Took top coated acid runs that the company wash crew left on my wheels right out.
