Includes four (4) Menzerna premium solid polishing compound bars paired with six (6) top-quality 10″ x 3″ Hilzinger airway buffing wheels. Comes with instructions detailing how to mount a buff, sanding, compound and buff combinations, rotational speed, and more.

Includes Hilzinger 16-ply 86/82 grey treat, Hilzinger 16-ply 86/82 yellow treat, 16-ply 60/60 clear treat, 20-ply 86/82 untreated, 20-ply 60/60 untreated, and 16 ply Molton flannel buffs; Menzerna 439T Heavy Cut, P14F Medium Cut, 480BLF Finish and sample size (500g) P175 Super Finish solid polishing compounds.

Spectrum recommends mounting buffs on variable speed, rotary polishers such as the Makita 9237C or DEWALT DWP849X or on an appropriate stationary buffer.

Precautions: Do not breathe dust during use. Wear appropriate safety clothing and respiratory protection. Generated dust exposure can irritate eyes and skin. Buffs will need to be raked prior to initial use. Buffs do not include center reducer plates and require the use of a self-centering safety flange set or standard end flanges in conjunction with a center reducer plate for proper mounting and safe operation.

Hilzinger Max RPM: 10" x 3" = 2,000 RPM

Please note that while these buffs are being used without issue at 5k, 6k, and even 8.5k RPM, Hilzinger-Thum/Hilzinger America will not warranty buffing wheels run at excessive speeds. Do so at your own risk. Because Hilzinger has pushed their production machinery to its limits (at our request) to produce these buffs, you may notice small gaps between the material and clinch rings on some individual buffs. Rest assured that this simply because the material has become, effectively, incompressible, and that is it still well-secured in the ring. Keep in mind also that European-style clinch rings leave these gaps more visible than other clinch ring styles, which also have hidden gaps.
